Poll: Your prerequisite for buying a porn membership

I buy a membership from a porn site because of the men. I want to masturbate. That’s it. Sad face if it’s streaming only. I will adapt. Like I said, I want to masturbate.

If viewing the content is the only issue, what is your prerequisite for buying a membership?

I prefer a membership with the ability to download. If a company is streaming only then the price should reflect this. Charging $30.00 to $35.00 is highway robbery.
Raunchy Bastards and their sister(brother) site allows you to purchase a scene without a subscription.
Gayhoopla and Militaryclassified do the same thing.

I got be able to download the porn. That’s why I love biphobia so much. You can download the bisexual porn.

      • McM.

There’s a site called Biphobia? Gross.

I like the flexibility of being able to download and catalogue videos.
Sometimes I spend an evening watching a particular actor so I can study his performance across several studios or under different lighting or solo, paired, in a group etc.
Of course, I enjoy wanking while hot men have sex but it does add an interesting, even participative, dimension which raises the experience to ecstatic masturbation.

    No download option, no subscription.

And ideally a download option which doesn’t require me to buy credits to get a scene.

What a pointless and stupid Poll! Sorry, but GAYS should know what’s important and what they want! If the remaining studios (which are no longer committed to good quality GAY porn or have turned into “QUEER” studios) don’t make an effort, a survey like this won’t do anything. In addition, the studios lie and cheat their customers, try to tie we to a subscription and ensure that you have poor download quality just so that they can continue to “force” we to renew for another month. They also fake their votes for scenes whether we like them or not, just like MEN DOES! I’m just saying that gay porn studios have only themselves to blame for the fact that all GAY customers are running away from them and no one is interested in GAY porn anymore given this poor quality and these fraudulent conditions. That’s why OF or amateur porn from RAW CLUB is so successful because the actors themselves can produce better quality porn than studios. Their own fault!

I think you’re being a little hard by tarring all studios with the same brush.
Some are definitely shit (men.com always comes to mind!) but others are trying to produce high quality porn in a market increasingly crowded by the likes of OF, JFF etc which are also starving the mainstream of talent.
An interesting illustration is the upcoming TimTales flip-flop featuring Alberth Pineda and Igor Lucios. Their OF encounter from last year was adequate but noticeably lacked the high production values which a major studio can deliver as standard.
TimTales has the resources and the backroom talent to showcase these two beautiful guys to maximal erotic effect and I’m sure the cumshots will be better set up and filmed.
As bad as a minority of the mainstream studios may be, we would certainly miss them if we could only watch OnlyFans.

Ok, I agree with you that i shouldn’t lump all studios together. But honestly, when I see these queer inclusion studios from MEN, Adulttime or others who are actually in the straight porn business and they think they know what gay means with their type of gay porn and they produce gay porn, then I feel sick. For them, we gays are just joke characters about whom comedy scenes are produced that make fun of gays and are supposed to be porn. No wonder that such producing studios only focus on the queer society (Z generation?) who don’t think much of gays. This is how gay porn is dying out. It’s not us who take care of it, they do it themselves. It’s not hard to say it or to get to the point, it’s just REAL!

Monomania: Monomania is a condition in which someone is extremely interested in or obsessed with one thing, idea, or subject.

      • logogay

Just like you are obsessive about me or obsessed with a belief (namely Queer/BI/Straight/Fluid/Pan)! Of course I’m right again?

        • NCBored

No, just tired of you trying to be the Purity Police and judge the ‘gayness’ of everyone who doesn’t meet your narrow criteria of what constitutes a ‘true’ “GAY”. Occasionally I feel the need to remind you that there are other opinions here and that the blog isn’t constructed solely to promote YOUR personal preferences. A waste of effort I know – nothing is going to penetrate your shield of zealotry and self-righteousness.

I know websites where we can watch or download private videos, regardless of whether the actors filmed them privately (OF) or for labels like RawFuckClub (for a fee, of course, legally), which are filmed in a much better quality than studio productions. Studio productions are rigid, film according to the A-Z pattern and many actors are detached, not free in their sexuality! Many don’t do rimming or kissing or sucking in studio productions! In their own productions they can show who or what they are and what they love sexually! Not at Studio Porn. This is just a JOB! No more and no less. Why are there so many G4P, crossover or bi actors in gay porn? Because they can create something there artificially. A fantasy. But it doesn’t reflect reality. When it comes to their own productions or films, they are responsible for theirself and can film what they want or love! If I just think of people like BritishTwunk, Andollini, Nick Pulos, Alejo Ospina, DennisXL, Igor Miller, Marcos Goianno, Nathan Carsi aka Nath Latrel, Reco Romanello, VikingoXL, Milo Galician, Milton Escudero, Valdemar Santana and many others that I can’t even list, who else thinks of studio porn that also makes a statement (for example like MEN/MG or Adulttime that they have no idea about gay porn)! It’s the bitter truth. Studio (GAY) porn is dying out. The future lies in their own hands and their own productions with which gays can identify themselves. Not what others (queers) tell us or try to brainwash us into in their Produktions what they consider or see as gay!

I’m very simple with it, I just want to say to go to the site where I can watch the movies that I want to watch and call it a day. I’m not interested in downloading anything unless I deem it necessary to do so but I just wanna go to the site and watch it and leave. Simple as that

    • Pssuucl

I agree. Owning catalogues of downloaded porn might indicate you have an issue.

      • McM.

I used to travel to near-remote locations without internet access, most had spotty connections, and I don’t stream porn through someone else’s network at places with great connections. Downloading scenes and watching them on my laptop has always been my best option.

I also secure my computer by disconnecting from the internet while completing tasks that don’t require it. Reading, writing, and watching media can all be done offline. People have their reasons for wanting downloadable porn.

  6. No Agendas

No agenda pushing is one. The TQs are insane and feel entitled to everyone else’s spaces.

  7. Ben

Has anyone thought about the people who come from Europe? I’m from Germany myself and actually have a very good internet connection. (200 Mbits/s) Nevertheless, when I stream gay porn I often suffer from buffering problems. You’re jerking off, just before reaching orgasm and then the video starts to stutter. There is nothing worse…

That’s why I only prefer studios where there is downloadable content. I’m quite prepared to pay an extra fee in addition to the streaming-only costs for the download. I’m quite willing to pay that. But most studios don’t offer this. But this shit with the credits on top of the normal streaming-only costs is so customer-unfriendly

The studios really shouldn’t be surprised that people download the videos via (illegal) portals.

    • Philby

Hi Ben, I’m in London and rarely have connection problems but thanks for highlighting another reason why it’s preferable to download clips rather than watch a stream.
I can well imagine how frustrating it is to reach that “point of no return” only to suffer buffering problems so I hope it doesn’t happen to you very often.
Incidentally, does anyone else check the screenshots first to see what action is included and work out when to get ready for release?

  8. Ben

I had problems with Corbin Fisher and Randy Blue when it came to terminating subscriptions. I had to badger both companies to do what they are obligated to do under T&C. I’ll never purchase a subscription from them again.
