Well, considering all the talk about MG going on here, I would like to give a shout out to a Washington Examiner article about a series of leaked audio recordings of two major employees of the company discussing… some pretty interesting things about the type of content they currently wish to push as a company.
If the audios presented are to be believed, MG as a company has an actual internal policy of promoting trans and bi content for straight audiences, with the intention of “selling less accepted content”, with the pretext that their straight sites have already done enough to explore “most mainstream things”.
While I have my doubts about the way WE and their source chose to present said audios (having in mind their own editorial biases), the content of the recordings themselves seems to be genuine, as MG didn’t even bother to deny their authenticity when reached out to comment about the subject by the paper, which says a lot.
Why is this relevant to the gay porn world? Isn’t that obvious?! The exact thing described in the article is happening right now on MEN.com, with all the recent push of bi, FtM and now “drag” porn going on in the studio.
If this is accurate, it just does to show that this is the direct result of astroturfing and not some organic demand for such content, while validating a bunch of “conspiracy theories” about the internal structure of MEN.com.
Fun fact: the guy who was recorded is credited as a script writer for both MEN.com and TransAngels, which explains the blatant script recycling going on between the two sites. Interesting how this is all going full circle.

Roman Todd: I didn’t like him, but he showed a vulnerable and very real side, talking about some sad events in his life. From that moment on, I began to see him with more compassion.
