They look like surgical scars around the hamstring area. If there are no before pictures, I suspect they maybe childhood scars from a surgical operation to lengthen the hamstring tendons from a congenital birth defect or something. Just a guess.

Tendon re-attachment would not require those length of cuts in a modern operation. The scars are also much more older than 2022. There is also a loss of tissue underneath. If anything he would have hypertrophic raised scars. I’m still going for childhood operation.
