I don’t subscribe to sites unless I can download, but I suspect I’m in the minority. It would be interesting to poll how many of us routinely download, selectively download, or never download, but I’m not sure that ‘casual’ viewers are accurately represented here.
Like you I only sub if I can download, even if it means paying a bit of a premium to have the ability to do so rather than the streaming membership. Sites that only offer streaming I suspect lose a lot of potential customers and it’s rather short sighted.
