I wanna know more about gay men in gay porn. That’s the whole point, IMO. The comments are almost always bitchin about anything, everything, whatever-thing because it’s this way and that way, up the ass–but now has lost its way and don’t know what the hell to do, wind it’s ass or twist it’s inner-whatnots.
As i understand this blog site is about MEN OF PORN. I am guilty of posting ill of bi pan g4p (but usually w good reason and evidence). I would love to post about the super hot men in str8 porn (van wylde, donnie rock, nick strokes, brick danger, etc) but too many here hate vag so much they cant appreciate the beaty of a man simply fucking and showing themselves. I can look past the vag an simply enjoy a man fucking his object and ignore the fuckee. But too many here r so intolerant of vag to me its silly. Its like most of these ppl here r like their politics…i preach tolerance but i am the most intolerant of ppl. Now i agree i do rail on bi pan g4pers cuz most r usually disingenuous fuckhead grifter, it has nothing to do w what they stick their dicks in. I wish we could also praise the true gay men in porn such as beaux matthews, quin quire, greg mckeon & his BF, aaron hugese, sam holister cuz these guys rarely if ever cross the line and i hold them up as higher in the gay porn wotld CUZ THEY R GAY (and i hate that word gay but thats a totally different convo).
I mean, controversial stuff will always attract more clicks than the usual, run of the mill posts.
This is applicable to any subject.
As for the content of the blog itself, I have little to no problem with it, as it’s always related to the gay porn industry in one way or another, even if stepping into non-gay content sometimes. In fact, I consider such coverage to be necessary, as it gives an accurate picture on the way the gay porn industry is going currently.
If a popular gay porn perfomer or site is crossing over to non-gay content, then covering them is more than justifiable on my eyes. You’ve done an excellent job on that regard, which is worth praising.
You will hear no criticism on my side.
This is an extremely good point. Controversial, scandalous or horrifying things will receive enormous amounts of attention and it won’t be because people are attarcted to them, but because they elicit a visceral reaction that drives people to express their outrage. On the other hand, things that might be more comfortable might not receive as much engagement, precisely because readers feel pleased about them.
As for the latest gay male-centered updates, most of the votes are positive and I am sure that people are not commenting because their impression is positive, but they’re not marvelled at the hotness of the models or completely outraged. Come on, Denz! You know how things are in the blogosphere.
I understand that due to the infection of vagina and vagina fucking performers in what is gay porn today that it may be more difficult to get pure gay content for every single post.
I may not comment on every post, but for the ones with actual gay men in them, I will always make sure I upvote the post and comments I agree with.
But in gay porn (and it’s coverage) there is a difference between reporting on actual men who fuck vagina and women with vaginas calling themselves men. It’s very “who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes”. I don’t like vagina dabblers myself and will call them out for identifying as gay, but they at least have dicks.
But Denz, you have to admit that when you start a post with “this person’s pronouns are he/him so this is gay porn” when they have a whole fucking vagina is just stoking the controversial fire.
Unless that’s what your personal belief is.
It’s a mistake to equate level of interest with volume of comment since people usually only comment to complain.
It so happens that this week’s newbies (and returnees) were a fairly unremarkable bunch. In any case, we punters don’t choose what stories you choose to highlight.
I watch porn because I enjoy seeing boys and men sharing sensuous pleasure. I’m not interested in men with vaginas or women with cocks so I don’t waste my time on them.
I appreciate that managing a blog like this isn’t easy, but it won’t be made any easier by your making erroneous assumptions about your viewers.
Let me start by saying that this blog will always be my first go to. I’ve respected everything that you’ve done to keep this a safe space. It’s why I will continue to support. That being said, what I want to see as someone who has followed this blog for numerous years isn’t just a complete whitewash of gay men and that bisexual or vaginal sex has been put to the forefront. What attracted me to MOP was that I was getting the latest of quality gay porn and the gay porn stars that produced them. Now I know like anyone else that gays and bisexuals produce gay porn and I respect that. Bisexual content shouldn’t be erased because it’s part of the focus too. After all you say that in the blogs banner. But you also said MOSTLY GAY PORN.
Lately though, what’s been highlighted is this constant push of vaginal content being marketed as gay in porn. Which is an utter lie. What I want to see here is a much more decent amount of gay men and gay porn being the upmost. You’ve already told us that there will be other genres highlighted too but lately it’s been the most and the gay sex has been remedial.
Sure clicks and views are going to come from controversial news and topics. That’s with any media outlet and that keeps the traffic and views flowing. But I will say that despite the uptick in views and votes for the non-gay related posts, it’s the constant posting of these guys that’s disheartening.
As a gay man, I come to this blog to find the inside scoop of the latest and greatest. Homosexual men aren’t going to want to see vaginas and tits everywhere. We’re also not looking to see the constant exposure of leech sucking gay label users. The same ones winning awards and the are overexposed for their tomfoolery. Your bisexual viewers will love it but your true blue gays are going to sigh and say “damn another one bites the dust. Here we go again.” Recently, that’s all that has been focused on here and many other blogs.
The posts that have more comments are from the viewers like myself who are showing their dismay. They’re not from a bigger group that are celebrating the posts. If that’s what you’re after then keep it this way but if you want it to be the place for the best scoop, the place that showcases the best on gay content and the place that focuses on the MOSTLY GAY, then cater to the gays a tad bit more.
No matter what though, we still love what you’re doing Denz. Don’t take my complaints, downvoted or rants as a knock on you. It’s only against the guys that you share. ❤️

Don’t play dumb, Denz. It doesn’t suit you. You choose to post non-gay content because you know it’ll generate controversy (and also because you dedicate a large amount of your time looking for that content, for reasons no one can explain).
I just hope that, now that the vast majority of people answered yes to your question, you’ll have the decency to stop posting all these clickbait posts and stop this passive-agressive ‘I’m only posting because it’s generating engagement’ façade.

The other posts may have more engagement, but it is negative engagement.
I personally do not care and do not engage with posts that focus on guys having sex with women and find the amount of posts focusing on it annoying.
My question to Denz is, do you want menofporn to be a blog focused on people bitching about another g4p being paid to be straight or for menofporn to be an informative blog about what is going on in the gay porn industry?
I love this site. I love that we are able to speak our minds here and that they aren’t censored. I appreciate you Denz for not chastising us for having the views that we have, even if you don’t agree with them, unlike Zack from Str8UpGayPorn.
Now with that said, i think the question is the wrong one. All of us here want to talk about gay men in gay porn but when we see folks that aren’t gay men, that’s when it becomes a problem. I get that we have bi & pan men in gay porn but i don’t need to see those men digging their dicks inside of a vagina. I don’t need to know when they branch off into straight porn and then seeing them in action. The better question is do we want to see trans porn, bi porn & straight porn in here. I think you will be fascinated by what you see with the answers. And just because many don’t speak on certain topics doesn’t mean that we aren’t interested in gay men in gay porn. It may have to do with the studio they’re in, or the partners they’re in a film with. I haven’t spoken at times because i didn’t want to keep on complaining about certain sites for the umpteenth time or I’m not familiar with certain sites or performers. Even with that, this site is still the best for gay porn and i thank you for making this site & keeping it running. It’s not in vain and I look forward to more stories that you post in the future.
